Engine harness

Have a 2005 Chevy 6.0 my harness is bad I thank.. I bought a 2006 harness that came off a 4.8..Will this work after I change the injeter pig talls?

I have 2005 6.0 motor/wiring harness. My harness is bad and was wondering what years work and on what engines (5.3/6.0)? I was told by junk yard the harness for the 5.3 and 6.0 are different. I thought they were same.

They interchange as long as trans and injector connectors are corrected.
