    what does removing the egr do with performance? or just in general?

    The egr recirculates innert gasses from your exhaust back into the combustion chamber. These gasses do not burn because they don&#39;t contain any oxygen, they help to keep comb. chamb. temps. down in turn helping with emissions. Although I think most egr valves are closed at WOT, deleteing it can&#39;t hurt performance as long as you are using good fuel.
