And G you don't have proof your faster. You don't have any times to prove your new truck can actually stay together to make a 1320pass. Old setups and times do not account for new setups and combos...but i'm sure you knew this already
And your pile lost to a cammed CC That isn't saying a whole lot
Or you could come to the shootout and actually run your pile on a perfectly level playing field how about that? Doesn't seem like you have made a single good pass in a long time. We all respect that you have had some bat crazy setups, but you haven't done much except post dyno numbers over the last couple years.

Man this got a little off topic lol. Anyone have good recommendations on a complete 60e rebuild kit? I've been reading about sunshells and forged shafts and everything else but I would love to order one complete kit. I'm a dealer tech for VW, been doing it for a few years so I feel comfortable rebuilding a trans on my own.

Man if you can rebuild a 01M trans you can rebuild any trans lol Monster Transmissions makes a pretty complete kit to rebuild the 60e.

Youre right, I dont have anytimes with the new setup, then again niether do you. I lost because I do something you dont....race. And if you think im upset about losing to a cammed and tuned, stalled, 6.2 liter vs my 5.3.....youre dead wrong, that truck is a beast. Prolly makes at least 100 more horses than me, and it was a good race not a shut out, I dont care to lose, hell parker put a beating on me no biggie, but you gotta race to lose one. Bring yours to the shootout and someone will be more than happy to get my truck and race you in it.

Most sports require one ball, motocross requires two.

Racing isn't a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.

i made 14 1/8 mile pass attemps last yr and 2 1/4 mile pass attemps, guess i wasnt racing? I made my personal best mph and ET in 2011. So do i always go out and race when other things came up? No...do i always need to post up any 1/4 mile times? no. Was extremely busy last yr where i didnt have time to go out and even enjoy crusing the truck
as for making shootout thats not even going to happen. Its around 26hours one way and I would be spending damn near 1200 in fuel, and that amount right now just isnt there. With buying a house and putting money aside for a wedding theres just no money for shit like that. Also truck isnt ready to properly make any passes. the 20s just didnt cut it last yr, so slowly trying to gather items to help it hook.
the way some of you think just doesnt make sense. Im sure some have a brain and reasonable thought, while others not so much to realize there are other things in life besides a truck and racing.

I don't know how to weld, so what are the options for prefabbed crossmembers? I've read that 99 and 00 trucks are different from 01+.
