    Header Question

OK, so....I now have an '08 wit da 5.3. I'm planning on getting some LTs here soon, and I want to know if there is a y-pipe out there that is made to allow me to keep my cats??? I removed the cats on my '02 and regretted it.

Hmmmm, that could work, but i would prefer to get just the y pipe to use w/ my stock cats.. Do you happen to know the companies names or even have links???

That is kind of a waste. Just IMO. I would use high flow or nothing with LT's.

Would I have to worry about fuel economy without cats? I do plan on getting retuned as soon as headers are on btw.

Generally speaking the cats are a serious restriction to exhaust flow. You will likely be about the same on gas mileage maybe a little better, but the biggest difference will be the tune it should help your MPG and together with LT's you will make some fun power.
