    Plumbing Tru Cool 40K

    What has everyone done as far as cooler lines? I think I'm going the AN fitting route and bypass the radiator cooler.

    1995 Formula Firebird 383 LT1
    1984 Camaro 408 SBC

    I just use to rubber hose that comes with them.

    Why bypass the radiator?

    mine comes from the transmission, into a rubber hose going into my tru cool, then out of my cooler thru a rubber house into my radiator, then back to the transmission.

    Why would you cool it down, then heat it back up before entering the transmission?!

    jake, you need to find a new installer hahaha

    Are you sure its not going into the radiator then to the tru cool and back to the trans?! That i can understand...

    Haha, he had it backwards. The feed goes from trans -> Rad -> cooler ->trans

    Does it actually get cold enough up there to run it through the trans?! Why not just bypass it all together?
