    You have done as much as you can to help. You sold him a piece of equipment that was working, you helped him troubleshoot some issues he said he had with it, your job is done.

    Not only that but there are unknowns that you found out after you sold the perfectly working sub. Friend of buyer was blasting it and then wondering why there was a crackling sound.

    If he blasted them at full power, some subs instead of blowing will do what some people call hyper extending.. I've heard one that had that done and it buzzed somewhat. It is from putting too much power to them.
