    Took down another Hemi barely...

MODS: ME: 2005 silver ccsb 5.3 intake, exhaust, Nelson tune, 3.73 limited slip, plugs and wires.. HIM: 2007 dodge 5.7 ccsb intake, exhaust no cats, programmer, 3.92 gears.

Well tonight started out like almost any other Friday night. I got off work, headed to the girl's house, ate, and was about to lay down with her until I got a missed call. It was a buddy from back in high school asking me if I wanted to come run his buddy's 07 5.7 Hemi. Of course I said yes and left my woman which didn't work out well cause I haven't talked to her since which was about 2 hours ago. she's pissed. Well I went up to the wash where the whole truck club they have going was hanging out. I didn't even see the truck. I was just told 5.7 hemi with intake, exhaust with no cats, and a programmer. oh and 3.92 gears. First race i put truck in 2nd and raced hit rev limiter at 88 cause Nelson has me shifting at 80 a wee bit too early. i still won barely from 30 to 100 that race.

Next race same thing guy jumps me by 1/3 truck length then i come back by 100 to ahead 1/2 length.

    3rd from 60 i win by 2/3 length.

4th 30-100 again and i win by a truck length

    5th 65-110or15 i win by over a truck length.

I was very happy with the old bowtie. Can't wait til i find the 6.2 im looking for then it's gone be time to really pick on some folks.

My old friend recorded it but idk if i will get the vid because we hardly ever talk anymore. The race was super close and fun to say the least. I love reeling people in! Just like some good ole fishin'

Good kill, but never give out your location, you'd be suprised how many cops frequent the boards. Also it can come back and bite you on the ass.

I think hes a little full of it but thats just me... You listed two different gears, and why its not because of nelson your hitting the rev limiter, that goes by your tire size and shift points. No reason to over rev a stock truck thats why its not turned why up lol... hell my old silvy shifted at like 85 & it had 29" tires and 3.42s...

And yes mexico, mexico, mexico, and mexico!

Good kill! If your ever around Jones county hit me up. And yeah Mexico, you'd be amazed where cops poke their noses. My neighbor had a bon fire one night while their was a burn ban, took a picture of the fire labeled it f the burn ban and posted it on face book. Very next day the local fuzz was knocking on his door to give him a ticket.

i meant too hit the 2 instead of the 3. i am not full of it. The truck shifts out at 80 with the nelson tune. When I race, i always put my truck in 2nd even unless from above a 30 roll. I put it in second so i can shift up to 3rd at 85 or so but this time it hit the rev limiter at 6k. I only did it that once. Trust me. The truck is faster if done this way without hitting it which I only did once. In this race, I needed every little bit I could get. Ill see if I can get the vid just to show you how "full of it" I am. However I am not in his truck club and I am not sure he wants a vid of the race on here. Anyone who knows me knows I am not the honest type. Im a very straight up guy. Believe me or don't believe me.

I have no reason to lie on this forum.

To add to this. I couldn't be happier with my NP tune. It was my fault I hit the limiter. Im impressed with my 60e holding up with my foot like it is *knock on glass, save my @$$*
