WTB:GEN III motor/Trans

Like the title says I am looking for a Gen3 motor and trans. Both seem to be on their last legs in my truck. I am really looking for a 5.3 or possible a 6.0 for the right price. I am on a mild budget which I know doesn't go over well in this arena, but such is life. As for the trans an 2wd 80e would be awesome, but I know the chances of a good deal on that will be hard to come by. I would also take a known good 60e that has been built somewhat aka corvette servo shift kit etc or a built unit. I always hear about motors going for cheap to nothing out there in TX/OK and will be attending the shoot out so I can pick it up if it can be brought to the race.
So basically I need:
Trans looking for less than 1000
Motor looking for less than 1000 if 6.0 less than 600 if 5.3

I also did have a very reasonable offer from a member in Oklahoma for a 5.3 If someone could bring that down for me that might be an option and I would compensate the transporter some how. (you name it.)

I saw a really good deal on a 5.3 here in OK. 19k miles for 600$. Everything minus PCM. I would be willing to bring the motor down for you if its delivered to McAlester for me.

Was it a Gen 3 or 4? Actually either way I would be down for that. What is the contact info for the seller?

I saw that 5.3 in the link above on PT.net... Sounds decent, & if its complete w/ accessories I would jump all over that... I'm about 2 hours from it if Pl4yboy can't get to it for ya'
