    Ok. Finally have time to post an update on the Tahoe?. I will post photo as soon as the FedEx truck shows up.. The 408 is going to be a cheaper build then the 383 was..

    The ls1 383 idea was scraped for a 408 short block...
    I came across a good deal on a complete rotating assy for $1950.00 and the 6.0 block or $300.00...
    Also picked bought new caliper and rotors to finsh he front end rebuild and swap to 6lug...


    I have a 5.3 block,rods,crank, Turk intake for sale now
    The 5.3 block has new cam bearing and been bored to a 3.905

    Thank you guys.. I hope the photos makes up for my lack of words in this thread. I hope to have the rings filed this weekend and finish the 4 link and coil over mounts..
