I'm not sure what the measurement is for your rear discs, but I was able to fit 16's on the front of my 06 Silvy when most thought the smallest you could go is 17. I only have about 1/8th between my calipers and rims, but they fit. Not sure if it helps, but the rims I got through Summit were only about $60 ea.

    I have a 2011 model and I'm 99% sure that 16s will not fit.
    I haven't personally tried it is why I won't say 100%.
I run 18s on the street and I run 17s at the track.
With the 17" wheels there is tad bit less than an 1/8" of clearance between wheel and brakes.
This is with GM stock 5 star 17" wheels.

Correct! 17's are as small as you can go! Hell, aren't our rear brakes 15"?

Yes, I would look at the M&Hs and compare first.

On the street I run like a 305/40 18 drag radial.
On the strip I run a little 28/10 17 slick.

Both of these are temporary set ups.
