    id say the easiest thing you could do is find a 5.3 with a 4l60e trans already mounted to it...unless this is a budget build that would be the less hectic way. otherwise you can always use ur old tranny and Nelson could hook you up with a harness that you need

    I think i will do my own harness I cant see spending hundreds of dollars for wires when they are already all there in a factory harness

    The 95 tranny with work perfectly fine. Mine is the original 95 and it works as it should for several thousand miles now. And I'm sorry but what do you mean by the fuel lines? Are you talking about the original ones on the truck?

    ya i am talking about the original fuel lines from the tank and go up to the firewall

    On mine I cut off the original fuel lines and used new fuel injection hose double clamped with the good "bolt" style clamps. Bought some quick connect fuel fittings from oriellys that will snap right on the fuel rail and has a hose barb on the other side, double clamp it the with good clamps as well. It works perfect, let me know if you need pics

    Hang on Do you have the return style or returnless fuel rails?

    sure I will take any pics you wanna send. How did you tie your exhaust up together? Does the 5.3 y pipe bolt up without any clearance issues?
