There are better ways to monitor your AFR when running nitrous and most all say the best way is by reading your spark plug electrode heat reading after a WOT run on the spray. Set the mixture rich to start with and work your way up. Monitor your bottle pressure, too. Low pressure at the bottle will make you run rich and too high of pressure will cause a lean condition.
reading plugs helps, but i dont see it as the only way. you need to monitor it live as well. but this guy hit it on the head with bottle pressure. people most of the time dont realize how important it is. some try to run too high of a pressure or too low. if you are around 1000psi during a run and it is rich or lean, adjust with jets not pressure!!
it looks like you have gotten plenty of people telling you already about a wideband so im sure you know by now thats the way to go
