    Exhaust tubing

Ok so most of you know I got a new magnaflow muffler and am going to be changing up the exhaust a little. Let's talk about exhaust tubing...

I can't find a shop anywhere around me that does mandrel bent exhaust...there is one that says on there website that they do, but I wasn't able to contact them because they are closed on weekends. I don't have a welder or I would just order some bends and do it myself. So my question is how nessicarry is it to have mandrel bent tubing for the exhaust? I know a smooth flow is optimal and the crush bends create turbulence and turbulence creates restriction and restriction loses power. For a cam'd 5.3 with single 3" exhaust is it really gonna cause that much restriction?

I know I could most likely order the bends and take it to a shop and have them build the system, but that's probably gonna be pricey and obviously budget is a concern.

Found my mandrel bends locally at a big rig supply place. I really don't see the single 3in hurting you at all with your setup.
