Truck starts and idles. Sounds great. However, when you apply throttle, and hold at 2-3k it pops randomly and runs rough. Let off the gas and it will die. I assumed it was in the tune. Left Allen a message yesterday. A lot of parameters were changed during the swap so the tune was a shot in the dark via mail. Check engine light is on. Not running good enough to drive 2 hrs to Allens dyno. How should I go about getting it good enough to drive there? Tried to let a guy here (instructor for EFI University) go in w/ hp tuner software, but Allen has wisely locked his tune and we cant get into the PCM. Suggestions?
