What is that vacuum adapter fitting? I've never seen anyone mention that in their build thread

Looks like the one for the intake manifold to the brake booster. His engine probably came from a truck with hydroboost which would have just had the plug version of that fitting.

so now i got the right motor mounts i was able to bolt up the drivetrain. ended up pulling the motor back out so i could modify the factor harness. also wired up the engine. my new harness doesnt have a plug for the knock sensor in the oil pan. is that bad? also i broke my timig cover when i trying to align the engine. and also a coil. if anyone has a coil and timing cover for sale please let me kno!

That sensor in the oil pan isn't a knock sensor it is for oil level. You don't need it.

oh worked out cool..i transferred the plugs from the old harness to the new one. however on the neutral safety switch there are about 3 or 4 wires that dont connect to anything. ill take a pic tommorow but i know one is for vss but not sure about the other ones. Also i have a buddy who just put a 6.0 in an impala ss and he didnt use that plug on the driver side of the trans. not sure how tho..
