So, would a beefy one-piece steel driveshaft be a better idea for 600+ to the wheels?

Call and talk to them. I spent an hour on the phone with em. I was hitting 400ish shots of juice and they wanted a steel one. It was cheaper for me. Boost is less violent on it so may not matter for you.
