me: No, you'll never catch me

    And for my favorite....

them: Why try to make a truck fast?
me: cuz no one ever expects a truck to be fast, plus I don't really fit in anything other than a truck these days anyway
I get the first one all the time. So ignorant.

and there's nothing better than having a sleeper! I'm not fast yet but this 6.2 stock with a CAI can still get up and go!

My favorite reaction was two college kids in a Shelby Mustang laughing at me going down the road because I was trying to get them to race me. We got to the next light and I had to get over behind them because there was a car in my lane. He started revving and waved bye bye to me out the window right before the light turned green. Then he mashed it and took off. I almost rear ended him before I could change lanes to go around him. As I blew by him both him and his friends' jaws fell open and were like wtf. Then I waved bye bye. The best.

Had that happen on the freeway couple weeks back. Some tool in his Scion tC with a fart can and wing thought he was a badass and pulled up next to me..I had the window down so he saw the guages and laughed he got down on it, waved as he slowly pulled away, I let him get to my front bumper and layed into it...as I instantly reeled him in I stuck my hand out the window and waved bye bye. I slowed back to crusing speed and 4 or so miles later when I was getting off my exit he saluted me as he went by.

"It's a truck, you can't do anything except intake chip and exhaust."

"Yeah you're right, line em up. It's a really good programmer"

Peoples reaction to the bottle is always the best. I LOVE asking people to get something out of the bed of my truck and then watching them lose it.

I get a lot of stupid questions like that with my Yukon lol. I just tell them it's paid for I can pull anything I'll ever need to pull haul 8ppl around sounds AMAZING and fills my need for fun when my cars are down for mods lol. I always like when they say it must get awful fuel mileage but I average 15 in town live a mile from work fill up maybe once a month and easily get over 20mpg on the hwy! Sad part is I'm still slow and most of the idiots here that know my Yukon say it's NASTY lmao!

This line gets thrown out every weekend with my truck. My buddy's first line when we roll up to a spot is "who wants to race a truck?" lol

I've often asked myself the same question people ask...Why waste the money to try and make a truck fast? Why not buy a lightweight car or lightweight truck?

I was pretty serious about taking the motor out of my truck and sticking it in something really light. After much thought of, "why?" I finally realized because there is nothing I want to build more than my truck.(besides a 70-72 chevelle, but thats another story lol) Anyone can take a decent motor, shove it in a mustang or an s10 and go fast. It takes some careful planning and lots of work to make a vehicle around 4000# go fast. In the end, I'll be much more satisfied with the work I've put into my truck than if I just with another cookie cutter build

THIS. I just think it's amazing to watch people reactions when you pull away from a "fast sports car" in a 4000# truck. The looks of amazement you get are absolutely hilarious most of the time.
