Slowest in Oklahoma...
think about this, how often do you plan on running all out, if alot stick with 3.42's.
if your running racing or towing, lower gears are a must, then go 4.10 or lower.
if you want to dial in your mileage, get on a rpm calculator and find the closest gear ratio: http://www.csgnetwork.com/multirpmcalc.html

Yeah i dont plan on running all out that much, mainly just quarter mile, racing from red light to red light and flooring it on the highway to 100 or so.
3.90s!!! Or 4.10s they say you can do 140ish in 3rd on 4.10s in my truck I shift to 4th usually so dunno how tall 3rd is exactly on a 29" tire as well...
Im at a high rpm on the hwy but not to bad...
I have the 3.73 with 30 in tires great gear compared to my brothers 3.42. I'm currently having them swapped to 3.90 and going to a 31 in tire for the street and 28 in for the track. In relation to the 30 in tire with the 31 in the 3.90 should be the same rpm/mph as a 3.73 and the 28 in should be the same rpm/mph as a 4.10. Go with the 3.90

Yeah i mean it gets up and goes great with the 3.42's, so i will stick with goin to 3.73's and 28" tire for now. I mean damn 4.10s or lower i will probly end up pooing on myself.
I went from 3.42 to 3.90's and love them. But sometimes I still think I should have done 4.10's. Do at least 3.90's or stay lame at 3.42.
