Sometimes I get into some of the craziest conversations with people interested in stuff I've had for sale in the past. Usually explanations trying to back up their low offers. One of the cars I sold a while back, guy was offering 1500 less than my firm price, he was trying to explain all these different little "tune-ups" and mantaince work he was going to do and wanted me to deduct all that from my firm price NOT my posted OBO price. He said he had to do oil change, new brakes, flush and recharge A/C and cooling system etc etc. Even though everything worked perfectly fine on the car. Lol
I understand that. I had a guy come look at my Z28 roller and lowball me wanting every extra part I have...and that's A LOT of stuff, I have stuff I never listed or mentioned just laying around, LS1 master cylinder/booster/full front and rear brakes interior trim pieces etc off another car AND parts off the s10 I'm not using. I gathered everything up and shot him an honest price and he wanted it all for less than I wanted for the roller...I've made $1371 off just 7 things I had for sale and still have the car with the BMR kmember, 1 set of ZR1s and 99% of the parts I had gathered up...some people are crazy!
