If the truck is in 2wd it doesn't make a crap what size tires are on the front. Autotrack doesn't automatically engage your transfercase if you're slipping when in 2WD - it ONLY engages when you select the mode "AUTO 4WD"....its a screwy setup but works good at slow speeds on slick roads, other than that... worthless. Pretty much a soccer mom 4wd option to make them feel better when driving in crappy weather.

I've heard otherwise. That's all I'm saying. With the Stabilitrac and Autotrac combination, I've heard there are issues. But I'm open to all opinions.

A thermal coupler engages the front differential - when autotrack is turned on the transfer case is locked in 4X4 with the front diff engaging when slippage is detected ONLY when the AUTO 4x4 button is turned on.... have you ever tried a burnout in 2wd?

Think about this Justin...if 2hi still automatically engaged the t-case then you wouldn't be able to do a burnout. Just saying.

Yes, but the later model trucks have ABS sensors front and rear. Not sure how it would affect the stability, ABS and traction control systems. Haven't messed with the new body trucks much.
