I think that's the highest HP we've all seen from a cammed 5.3! Very nice numbers bluecajun5.3!
Looks like the a/f ratio tweak worked out just right. That's exactly where I like it to be.

Keep us updated on the new 1/4 miles, maybe the changes with the tune and belt will give you a thenth or two!

vv8, where are you? you gonna let this happen, lol.

thanks allen. i ran my 12.53@106.73 with the short belt. temp was 65 and the DA was 600.
the tune feels alot better than before. more responsive, shifts are great, and my shift extensions are right where i want them.
i dyno'd it this past fri evening and went to the track this past sat.
ran a 12.62@105.09 w/ 1.73 60'. this was at 12:30. temp was around 78 and the DA was between 1000 and 1500 by that time. i think it's got a 12.40's the way it is now with the right conditions.

How long does the mail order take? Honestly i havent a clue as to where mine is and how to take it out. On my 93 i knew how to pull that sucker out in no time cause i was always changing chips.

once you talk over with him, you should get it in a week. it's located behind the battery and down, right next to the front drivers side fender lining. takes about 5 min. to swap them out...
