    Ecsb 60' times

I'm kinda debating on swapping out my 3200 for a 4000 converter. I cut 1.74 60' if she dead hooks on DR's. Looking at price of converter vs e.t drop.

Just like some feed back on this.

What transmission you running? And what size(diameter) converter is your 3200? I have seen a few people go from a 3600 to a 4000 and drop .15 and pick up mph.

I think it also depends on your power band..where is your peak power? and how far does it carry power past 6300rpms? IMO a big converter needs a cam that wants to make power to 6500 to keep the truck pulling.

278mm circle d, it's a little on the loose side flashing to 3400 if it dead hooks. Transmission is a performbuilt lvl 2.

    Peak power is around 5600rpms

Your truck carries out power very well. I see the Trailblazer ss guys really liking the Yank 245mm sstb3600 converter. Look into it or give Yank a call. For all out performance I have always thought the smaller 245mm converters were better, they seem to offer quicker revs and better 60' while still having great top end from being lighter... It also helps take some hit off the transmission by somewhat cushioning the shifts...

Are you doing any towing with the truck? If so then you might not want a bigger converter, if you are just hauling stuff in the bed then my vote is Yank sstb3600 or even the Yank sstb4000

I won't be pulling anything with it, I've got a hd for that.. From reading most with 3600 say they wish they would have went with the 4000..

I'd say 2400ish on the brake & 3400 if it dead hooks. Take into fact I'm 4885lb race weight, but I do plan on dropping the hitch & maybe a couple of other thing.

that is a GREAT stall for the buck !!... and your truck is working pretty well... I hit them with 150 shot and they flash in the 4000 range... I have alot of 1.6-1.7 Daily drivers with that 278..... But even his 3600 or 3C models drive good but still flash 3600 soon as you hit the skinny pedal

Chris told me I was leaving Alot on table with the 3200. He suggest the 4B stall. So idk yet.. If I do change the converter I'll be swapping out the gears for 4:56's

You've seen my 3400 258mm flash to 4k+ first hand... You've also seen it footbrake to 3600.

I still tow with mine and its 258mm. Rarely see a temp over 150 with my Tru-Cool. That's through a 6l80e too.

I love my stall. I couldn't ask for more. I'm glad I didn't go higher. I made up for keeping the stall low by getting it made "loose"
