    You do not need the old ecm for anything. The new PCM just needs power, it controls the trans and engine. The gauges read from the sensors on the engine.

    So the air conditioning is all separate from the ECM?? What about abs?

    Got my engine out yesterday. Now jsut waiting for some more parts to arrive and trying to clean out engine bay. 20 years of tar and grease anyone got a miracle way to get it out?
