    Quick Y pipe question

Okay so Ill be getting my engine in the next week or so. But I thought of something. Will the Y pipe from a 92 OBS bolt right up to the manifolds on my new lsx engine? or will one or the other or both be replaced and what with?

Long story short, no it won't. If you want a factory y-pipe get one from a 99-06 truck. 4.3/4.8/5.3 all use the same y-pipe. 6.0 trucks have a dual in/single out muffler instead of a y.

You could get long tubes and an ORY to eliminate the stock Y.
