You are underestimating the SSS IMO. My truck went 14.57 WITHOUT a tune with just a vette servo, HD2 shift kit and AEM CAI. Tuned it and it went 14.30.

I am not underestimating the SSS. I am saying this guy is full of crap!!! lol He said all that was done is an exhaust and cold cai. And pulled me by 3 links. I am not man I got beat it was a awesome race. just saying the guy is full of it. lol My truck has a cai, exhaust with the stock headers and a tune. The last thing that beat me that bad a was a 13 second camaro.

This is what I'm saying...RCSB 5.3 trucks with his mods wouldn't run with an SSS with those mods. I ran a 4.8 RCSB with a 228R cam, 3600 stall and 4.56 gears and walked him hard from a dig with my SSS and I only run high 13s.

The SS was probably tuned and didnt mention it... he would pull you with its gears and 6.0 like that past 100 if so.

back when my truck was stock, all it had was a hypercrap, i ran an SSS with a cold air and superchips, was a friend of mine so im sure of it, anyways its still up for debate on who won but for the last 5 years he supposedly won by a bumper, i was still running 323 gears also. I would think it shoulda been a closer race with slowex, then again mine is a rcsb and a so called factory freak.
