03 sierra 4.3 to 5.3 swap(i need help)

This guy was a courier between Austin and Houston or something, hit like 13 deer and the thing was just beat to, but he cranked it over and it started right up. No lifter knock, good oil pressure, purred like a kitten, just ran a little rich. 5 hours to pull the 201k 5.3, tranny, motor harness, pedal and module, like new 145amp alt, good condition MAF and get it back to the shop. We left the tranny because it was burnt to hell, but I'm almost thinking about going back and talking him down just for the core. He only wanted $100.

After allthe wait it was the wrong harness!!! Hokkedit all up 2 days ago, didn't have my tuned ecu so didn't get very far. But today my ecu came in!!!!!! Plugged it in and on the 1st try it started right up!!! So stoked. Check engine light was on and the oil pressure gauge wasn't working, but no biggie. Buddie of mine is coming over that does tunes and is going to pull whatever time is on the Ecu and we are gonna make sure stuff is working like it should! Gonna drive ittomorrow

well all is good from the swap, im a lil over 2k miles since and running strong. gonna have to put a locker in it soon..... 1st gear sucks since all i do is spin the hell outta 1 tire....ive got a buddy thats gonna retune my trans (shift points, and shift pressures) gonna make it shift pretty firm.. mpgs are around 14.8 for now which is still better than i was getting with the 4.3, and i have power to mess with people bahahahaha... gonna post a video after the full tune and locker install!!! here is a few pics since ive got it running, the video is from the first night i started it... input is very welcome.....
