v8 maxima vs my turbo ls1 silvy???

so guy at the local highschool claims he has a new v8 maxima? he said he has never been beat and he even out ran a new 2011 ss camaro. I called b.s. because i dont think there is a such thing as a v8 nissan maxima?? but anyways he thinks he can out run me and wants to race for $40 bucks. I think he is just blowing smoke up my a$$. What do you guys think

More than likely its just a V6 the 3.0 and 3.5 are both deceptively fast. My brother drives a 94 Maxima 3.0 and it puts a hurting on about 95% of cars at his High School (only a couple real fast cars). I will say you have got a lot more than he knows. I think you have more than enough to win that $40 bucks. Go light him up!

i told the kid it was a heads cam ls1 with a turbo...its gonna really hurt his feelings when an extended cab 4x4 truck on 20's blows his doors off lol

When I was 17 my truck WAS the baddest in my school. Fully restored 73 K10. RCLB, 3" lift, 33's, fresh crate 350 with some goodies, full exhaust, custom paint.


Then after that got totaled I was rocking my current truck....with way less cool factor. It did have a badass camper shell though.
