i just put spindles on mine, A) you will only get 2" of drop, B)275/55/20 will not clear, C) i lost a lot of turning radius. i will try drop arms in the near future.

Looks like next spring when I go for this I'll be swapping tires and control arms then. If any of you try them out before I get to it, tell me what you think of them.

The DJM LCA's will get you about 3" of drop. If youre 2wd...which I thought I had remembered this truck was....you can cut the spring down a little bit to give you another 1/2 or full inch of added drop up front. For the rear you can do shackles and hangers or like you said a flip kit.

It is 2wd, it just sits up like a 4x4. And I'm not trying for mega slammed with it, just looking to tuck the tops of the tires. Didn't realize the LCA's don't give the full drop though.

Just realized you were wanting 4/6 not 3/4. Im sure that you could always get some drop springs and the control arms and that will make it work.

You are kinda worried about cost and what not. I think you are best of doing your drop a little bit at a time to see how you like it ride and appearance wise. Start with the cheapest and most simple which is rear shackles. Then add drop arms and rear hangers. See how you like it if you want more drop you can add some sort of front coils. I think you might be disappointed if you go all in on the first drop mods.

I thought about doing that, but having seen several ECSB trucks with similar setups to mine with the 4/6, I really love the stance. While money is a bit of an issue, I would rather start lower and work my way back up. I worked my way down in drops with my last truck and ended up more shooting myself in the foot with having to buy more and more. I can't say I haven't considered that approach though.

The DJM lower control arms for 2WD trucks do provide 4" of drop. Here's a thread of a truck for sale that has the DJM arms: http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...-4l80e-486827/
