LT1 vette got me by a nose...
My buddy is always giving me crap that his '96 Vette or '04 GTO will beat my SS (they are dead even) but every time he's sober I haven't gotten a race out of him. Finally sunday (after getting an ear full of vette saturday night) I called him out and wouldn't take no for an answer. First run we had to cut it short but I had 2 lengths by the 1/8th and would have won. Second race I had him all the way til the very end and he just pulled ahead. He admitted that he wouldn't have gotten me the first race but we didn't finish it.
