    My pedal just bolted in.

That'd be awesome if mine will just bolt in. But the way my luck is going probably not. Haha all good though. I really hope it works after this!!!

Is thee a difference between 03-06 in the tac module, pedal and harness. Or are the all the same? Does it have to come out of a truck or does it even matter?

TAC modules are one of those things that should be year specific to the tune. I'm running an 05 calibration, so I'm running an 05 TAC. Physically on the outside they're all the same. As far as the trucks go.

As far as I know the 03-05 DBW parts are the same. I won't swear to it but, I think so.

He's referring to my truck and mine did not just bolt in I had to take the entire dash out to remove the whole pedal assembly from the firewall my old gas pedal had to be cut off and then we had to modify the mounting bracket to bolt the new pedal to. Not sure if its because my truck is a standard or not but it was just a pain. When I went to the salvage yard I removed the DBW stuff from the same year truck as mine an 04 and even a standard truck and I wouldn't of imagined they made that much different stuff in the same year but how it was the the salvage yard 04 was no where near how my truck is.

God damn. Mine's a standard too, had the studs on the firewall for the TAC module too. Maybe someone f'd up on the assembly line and put a 4.3 in by mistake.

Well I got bored today and compared the pinouts from a blue/red and a blue green ecu and found a few things different, not many. One a blue green ecu the blue side has a starter Enable relay (pin 39) and my harness from 99-02 doesn't have a wire there. My ecu is a blue/green but was told it was programmed to work withthe older harness.... Hmmm!!! Other differences I found was sone ac related things but I plan to pit ac in it eventually so still trading out for a 03+ harness. I'm pretty sure that my starter problem was from the block thy goes into the fuse box. Also I had to put a ns pigtail on the harness(7 wires) and 4 of them go to that block!! Which I'm assuming are in completely diff pins that an 03 truck uses. Ideally hope once I get the dbw stuff this thing will start right up. I miss driving my truck, the daily Honda just ain't doin it for me IMO

Must have I don't have the studs on he firewall either my truck is all different from the 2004 I've been getting parts from at the salvage yard. Ideally one you put all the 03+ parts with the 03+ truck like it should be from the factory it should work.
