The 6.0 has a 4.0 bore right? so is that why the ls1 gaskets wont work because of the bore size? It it worth the extra money for the bump in compression?
Also will ls1 head bolts work for the 6.0?

Depends on how much extra money. Were talking a miniscule amount of increase in compression.
Also depends on what year the LS1 bolts are from and what year the 6.0 is. Pre 04 there is different length bolts, and 04+ has all one length bolts. Also if they have been used thats a big no go to use them again. May as well save the money on thinner head gaskets and put it to a set of ARP head bolts. That way you have stronger bolts and can use them again.![]()

Im trying to order a head set online and was curious what years i can use for my 2002 6.0, every website says something different.
Why not just mill the heads for $100 and use the proper head gasket???
