That'd be awesome if mine will just bolt in. But the way my luck is going probably not. Haha all good though. I really hope it works after this!!!

He's referring to my truck and mine did not just bolt in I had to take the entire dash out to remove the whole pedal assembly from the firewall my old gas pedal had to be cut off and then we had to modify the mounting bracket to bolt the new pedal to. Not sure if its because my truck is a standard or not but it was just a pain. When I went to the salvage yard I removed the DBW stuff from the same year truck as mine an 04 and even a standard truck and I wouldn't of imagined they made that much different stuff in the same year but how it was the the salvage yard 04 was no where near how my truck is.

God damn. Mine's a standard too, had the studs on the firewall for the TAC module too. Maybe someone f'd up on the assembly line and put a 4.3 in by mistake.

Yea yours sounds like the same as mine was as long as you cut the old bracket off all the way just drill 2 holes and mount it. I had to space the bottom out a little bit to get full pedal travel.

Yeah I took a pix of it yesterday, I'll post as soon as I get on a computer. But yeah Thad what I was thinking I needed to do. Hopefully I get some progress on this thing next week, but I gotta wait for the new harness.

I'm ready to get back to work on mine all I have left is to finish putting in the new harness and bolting up a few minor things and some minor wiring and it's done

That's about what I gotta do plus install the pedal, other than that just wait for the harness which will be here next week. I already had a tuned ecu but was for 99-02 truck so I sent that back as well that should be done by the end of next week I hope but I'll have everything else ready so when it gets here plug it up and go for a spin.
