You are going to get good and bad reviews no matter what springs you go with. With the setup you are going with seems like you could go with almost any spring and be fine. Horror stories exist for every product. I personally like the extra insurance of dual springs if its rated to the right lift don't worry too much.

couldnt agree more, id be the first to tell ya i wouldnt use comps crap for anything, ok maybe there cam grinds cause thats the only thing ive seen worth something from them..

id look into some behive springs, and dual springs for added insurance.

cant go wrong with the patriot dual golds. very proven. 918s are good. but they have failed in the past. just not worth the risk to me. just my .02

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

I hear ya, but I ended up going with a slightly smaller cam than I had originally posted. I think I should be fairly safe with them, as I don't romp on the truck until it is fully up to temp, and they're rated far above what I will run for a while.

Yup, they have had issues in the past. That was a while back (years ago). There was a bad batch of them. If the OP is buying (or has bought) new from a reputable reseller, there should be no issue. I don't blame you for your opinion, though.
