    Fuel pump udgrades and rails

    Anyone done upgraded fuel pump upgrades to the stock bucket...and does any one have any aftermarket fuel rails on thers stock truck intake

    Walbro 255 is pretty standard aftermatket pump for anyone needing extra fuel or as a replacement for that matter. As far as rails how much power r you planning because you wont need them untilled you are making serious numbers.

    Pretty sure he has a turbo LQ9. A 255 is going to be pushing it.

    What is the power ceiling on a 255 vs 340?

    Power ceiling on the 255 is around 500 hp safely. The 340 is probably around 650

    I was think of the stealth fuel pump for my pick of poison.... i am going to take a new step this time around with the LQ9, i am going to install a Turbo specific cam LT, the meth kit and turn up the boost to 8-10 psi and install the inter-cooler and possibly a FAST LSxRT intake/TB looking to make a min of 500hp N/A and then more on the Boost

    Just remember the old saying before you go getting super boost specific. If it makes power NA, it'll make power with boost. You aren't going to be going WOT constantly... You're going to spend the majority of your time out of boost. That's not to say a cam biased towards boost is a bad idea... just keep it in mind.
