What's your opinion? Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Texas have all have had offers with the SEC and PAC. With Nebraska and Colorado gone and A&M already committed to leaving, do you think that'll pull the big boys out of the conference? Big networks aren't going to want to make deals with tiny conferences.

I am personally a huge fan of the super conference idea. I don't think it will happen, but it would be cool.
If you start getting super conferences, you're going to hurt schools. They get money from all these network deals.

Yeah and those in the biggest/strongest conferences get the most money already. See sec. Idk that the affect would be that bad. I think it does give more clarity to selecting the national champ. Down with the BCS!
I agree with the BCS going down. But look at how many BIG bowl games the Big 12 goes to. By getting out, you can of course strengthen your schedule with conference teams, but still... Meh. There's not many GREAT teams in the PAC anymore. I personally think just about ANY team in the Big 12 has a chance of winning the PAC with ease.

I agree that the pac isn't what it once was but if you added Boise state byu unlv and Hawaii then the pac becomes very competative. I would like to see big 12 teams to go to other conferences. I favor a total realignment. A centeral and north conference sort of thing. Really Oklahoma Nebraska and Texas could almost have their own conference.

I think something cool would be if the NCAA steps in makes up 6 big conferences evenly distributed by region aka west centeral north south east north east etc. 8 team play off with top team from each region plus 2 wild cards to determine national champ. Booyah college football no more controversy just straight forward kick azz all season if you wanna take the trophy home.
