I read this in one of the car magazines I once subscribed to. That was in there almost verbatim. I'll se if I could find which mag and issue it was.

when i was shopping around for mine, the price was very close. i didn't know much about dyno's, but looking from the spec's and what they have to offer, it just made sense to get the Superflow.

Doesnt have to do with this thread but cjriojas I finally got that employer thing figured out and have a lawyer from texas lawyers of texas vets going to bat for the discrimination I recieved... I like some of my employees but I really hope they pay for the loss I have taken over last 4 yrs!!

& now bout dynos... Why are the cherokee srt8s able to dyno by removing front shaft and tbss's/aeros arent?

They also run staggered tires.. Curious is all no need to duno I rather say what it runs and its weight!

I love it! Just ran a car I have owned for years but finally shook some bugs out of it and wanted to check my tune on an instrument instead of the road (more responsible and more accurate). Ran on a dyno jet (didn't know it was an inertia until after the fact) and put down 339hp/369ft lbs on the best run of 5 and of course was still disappointed. Took another project of mine to another guy who has a Mustang Eddy Current Dyno and the first thing he said was my numbers will be "significantly" lower on his, but...they are more realistic AND we can actually load test in a ton of different configurations, 1/8th mile, 1/4th mile, up hill, down hill, towing, even oval track. I laughed because the second thing he said was "I bet your torque and HP curves intersected at 5250 rpm". Sure enough I went home and as if he was there when I did the first car they intersect at exactly 5250. Part of their magic formula

He convinced me that I should bring down the original car and not only was the new reading SIGNIFICANTLY lower, we were able to find another 10 hp and 15 ft lbs only 4 days later. I have to look to be sure but I think it was something like 68 hp difference!

I always warn ppl before we dyno their vehicles that my Superflow is on the low side as well.
I hear your story quite a bit, or similar to that.
Time and time again, 300hp trucks are beating 400hp trucks lol.
