What kind of harness did you use? Did you just use the one out of the donor or did you get a standalone. And how long did it take you?? Looks greattttt man! Can't wait to do mine

Hey do you have any detailed info or pics of how you modded your ac bracket. I'm doing a 5.3 swap and would like to retain my factory ac.

Buddy thats a sick swap. I have a 98 that Im wanting to put a 6.0L into. mostly for the power but I haul a boat now and then. How did you find the wiring harness and PCM conversion? did u need to do anything with the fuel pump? I have no problem doing the swap its the electronics that I can see biting me in the arse.

I used had the factory 6.0 harness converted to stand alone, total took me maybe 2 weeks working on it in the afternoons after work, and on weekends. And thanks alot!

I didn't think to take any pics of the brackets before I installed them. But basically I cut the bottom off the tbi bracket, you will only be able to get one bolt in the head through the bracket. Then heated and bent around the factory brace to the tbi ac so that it would bolt to the outer portion of the bracket and bolted the other end to the 6.0 head. And I made another brace to go from the inside portion of the bracket to the water pump. Reading over this post I realize those are horrible instructions lol. I will try to take better pics later

Hey I really appreciate it man! I had hotwireauto rework the 6.0 harness, and sponsor here nelson performance took care of the CPU tuning. I don't think you need to change the pump on your 98. And the wiring isn't as bad as it seems, granted I've always had an automotive filled background, I'm only 22 yrs old. I think if anyone does the prior research, and has some mechanical ability they can handle it! Good luck with the swap!
