    To clarify Posi helps in snow at low speeds like taking off thus is true. But what I don't like is in Michigan the snow gets packed down and turns to ice and can stay like that for weeks. This basically means you are driving on a sheet of ice, and michiganders still drive 55 mph or better in these conditions because we are used to it. It is kinda hilly over by me and with the ice road climbing a hill with a crown at 55 and more than 1 tire breaks traction... It can get dicey to say the least. And no snow tires here throw 300 pounds of rock salt in the bed and RUN IT!!!

    That said I will put a posi in anyway and deal with the winter driving, because on the street it is horrible. It won't hook like it does on a prepped track on a dirty old street.

    If its that slick there buy a cheap 4x4.... i would not have done the gear swap without a locker... put a posi in and run 13s all day every day... your pickup is fat! to me getting the fat girl going is the most important thing in getting any time. Making hp is the easy part..
    Slowest in Oklahoma...
