my dad and brother both have 2008 colorodos...one a cc 4x4 5cylinder and the other a single cab 2wd 4cylinder... Never had any problems out of either one of them. Bought them new and the 2wd has 111000 miles and the 4x4 has 50000 miles. I'd say get it

Definitely could be made into a nasty street truck.

at 4000lbs its a chunk lighter than my truck. I found this review http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2008/12...est-revie.html. And several others but this is the only one i found that talked about actual dyno numbers. Some longtubes, cam, spray, and a tune it should be pretty quick

The more i read about them im considering it. Ill be trading the truck in my sig if i decide to do it. Since it inly comes with a 4l60e i wonder how hard a 6l80e swap would be. What does a stock 5.3 with the mods mentioned above make(we'll say 100 shot to be safe)
