Salvage yard, check for Impala or Caprice rears with LSDs. I got my Auburn for &#036;80.

The full size cars use the 8.5/8.625" rear ends and a lot of them had a posi/LSD in them. Also watch Ebay. I&#39;ve seen them for around &#036;100 when I was looking hard for one. Used ones are prone to be worn out though, gotta be careful about what you buy and they better be willing to stand behind it if you pay more than &#036;100 for one used.

Im looking on ebay at 8.5 10 bolts. I see alot for old TA&#39;s and some that say 88 to 99 chevy trucks.
Do I have to buy one kind for my truck or will any 8.5 10 bolt fit? Do I have a 30 splin or 28?
