I have seen the problem with Lt's not getting up to temp and causing this problem, have you tried moving them further downstream?

2009 Silverado, HPTuners, all stock.
Hell yea!! All good now, Perfect 02 wave graph and fuel trims are back in line!! Was a long day but heres the FIX!!
Did some logging on the way to work. Same crap I thought for sure it has to be an exhaust leak. It checked out good, SES light was still off. I checked for codes and got Pending codes p0133, p0140, p0153 and p0154. I called a few of the part vendors we deal with and got a price of $80 for 2 Bosch 13111's I have been reading about, They list for $60+ each. When I went and looked at them the ends were different. I asked about the Downstream stockers for the silverado and they had to order them.
So off the the performance shops I went. First shop was no help, Wanted to sell me a dyno tune. Next stop was a performance parts/service shop. They didnt know crap and sent me to a freakin Import Tunner shop to talk to some dude named Todd. I pull upto the shop and it looked like my kids Hot Wheel collection in the parking lot. I all most didnt even go inside. But I did and Todd is the Mother Fuckin MAN!! He confirmed what I read about the sensors and explained why.
This is what I was told. The 02 sensors are calibrated to switch/function properly in the stock location moving them downstream (long Tube Headers) Stock 02's will/Can cause a bad wave graph and or LTFT and STFT's as they will not switch properly. The 02's switch piont 14.7 at a wide range of temperatures. But since the are temp dependent moving them downstream with (long Tube Headers) May dissapate to much heat before it gets to the sensor. More so with Non Coated Headers (My Case)Than Coated. He further assured me what I read was correct. The Bosch 13111's have a better heater element and not as dependent on exhaust temp as the stockers. He also said people with Coated Headers may not have a problem, But recomends it to be accurate.
On my Truck the 13111 Sensor was not a direct fit. I had to cut the enda off the New and my old sensor. Soilder and heat shrink my old pig tail onto the new sensor. Problem solved.![]()
