Thanks darnie I live up here in Flagstaff, I am not too scared about the swap so many people have done it before me and there seems to be a lot of parts available now to do it. Biggest thing will be electrical I think.

Welcome from Mesa. I was actually just up in Flag with my fiance and kid a couple weekends ago. You ever come down into the valley?

You have any questions this is the place to ask. Many guys on here have done it and are more than willing to help!

Got any pics of the truck?

Welcome to the site. Are you going to keep the same trans or are you going to swap that also. Does it already have the 4l80e?

Hopefully that worked tried to put a picture up. Anyway I am planning on keeping the trans its a 4l80e it seems to be in decent shape. The truck is a 97 crewcab long bed with 260k miles on it with a 350 so it is ready to retire it and get something with a bit more power in there. I use it for a daily driver but plan on getting a trailer in the future so need it to be able to tow occasionally but mostly just be a fun truck to drive.
