IIRC, the LY6 is iron block while the L76 is aluminum. For some reason I thought the L76 was a car 6.0, like for the G8.

get a Ly6 from a 2500hd ....no dod but yes has vvt which i deleted by just changing cam/sprocket/timing cover.....l76 is from a g8
lq9 r in ss, vmax silverado n serrias,Escalades or the ls2 out of the tbss n gto but the lq4 is in hd silvers n vans
