    NP241 or NP205 or ??

Can you guys identify what the nomenclature is for this transfer case? It doesn't really look like either of the two I mentioned, but believe these are the only two models used. It came out of a 3/4T Chevy Suburban 4x4. Any help is appreciated.

All I can say is that it doesn't look like a 205 to me. Those are some big heavy mofo's. It may be a 208. There should be a tag on it somewhere. What year is it from?

It sure looks like an 241C but the weird thing is that it look "inversed".

looks like a 208 to me as well. A 241 is a driver side drop in 90's 1500's. My 85 GMC was a slip yoke 208 and looked the same.

It could be a 241 out of a late 80s early 90s burban or blazer as those were passenger side drops. And as stated before there should be a tag some where by the output shaft.

This came out of a '84 Suburban and it is a pass side drop. Sorry, thought I had put the year in my original post.

After looking at some pics of other 208s, I'd have to agree. I see they are selling what appears to be the exact same thing on eBay for a Jeep Cherokee for $325-400. Kind of weird the amount of interchangeability going on, lol.
