hey im thinking of doing 5.3 swap in my 88 silverado and wanting to know what years 4l60e would work with the swap since i have a 700r4 and wanting to use it but it seems to be expensive.

Short Version: The 4l60e is electronically controlled and the 700r4 is not. I am not quite sure if it would be a plug and play swap...
