going to need new mounts check out dirty dingo for there sbc to ls1 mounts. i have them and love them

and most ls1s are dbc so you would just need a longer throttle cable out of a newer silverado

you are going to have to get the ecu flashed to remove the VATS (security) out of the computer allen can do this and while hes in there get him to do a tune

    1989 RCSS 5.3/4L60E swap
    - 224/230 .581.591 112lsa,
    - 3200 Stall
    - DJM 4/6 drop
    - Nelson Tuned

Building the truck GM never did..

not trying to thread jack, but do these require the transmission to be moved forward or back at all? im doing a similar swap and trying to avoid re-sizing drive shafts.
95 rcsb, built for the desert, sbc w/edelbrock mpfi, custom front long travel 18in travel, rear 4 link 29in travel.
94 ecsb, daily driver, 6inch rcd lift, 350 pending 6.0 swap, 14 bolt also on the way

How close to the firewall, would all you guys say, your engine is? (I think the rear of the passenger cylinder head/valve cover, would be the closest point.) Thanks
