Me too!! My trucks factory weight says 6200lbs, but iv'e taken some weight off so im guessing im aroung 6000lbs.... What would you remove to lose that much weight? I have taken off the spare tire, the spare tire carrier/support bar, and the center console.

Taking out airbags makes a difference... I have played with a couple undeployed airbags and I can tell you they weren't over 8lbs... I would rather keep the safety of the airbags rather then cut weight there...

one way to get some huge weight loss is to ask Uhaul how much your truck weighs
they wouldn't rent me a car hauler to pull my friend's 2010 camaro because they said my 4x4 99 rcsb only weighed 4200#. i laughed out loud & informed her that i'd just had a weigh ticket from a month earlier showing 4330. that was with the interior cleaned of everything (jack, tools, etc), tonneau removed, spare dropped, and running on fumes.
