A cam with 230 duration and .600 is very streetable in these motors. You can't go wrong with 4.10 gears. 4l80e will be your best bet for a trans, or a built FLT 4l60e. 3200-3600 stall is most popular.
Got more info on the truck? lifted? 4x4? weight? tire size? will you be towing?

I have done a cam swap before in thi motor but never gone to a whole different bottem end assembly. Will prob go 383 and the truck won't be used for towing its 2 wd 17 inch rims will prob change tire size sometime will be used mostly for the track

How about the ignition system, do you have to replace the toyota distributor & accessories and transplant the ones from the silverado as well?
