    something else you can do that does work. You can drill several small holes in the factory Stat. the more holes the cooler the motor will run. Found out 4 holes netted 170* temps on a 408
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s

    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance

    Now THAT is good to know. I may just do that. Just to be sure tho, which disk do I drill on the stat? The side that inserts into the thermostat housing or the side that inserts into the water pump. Thanks a ton Quik

    Hey jet what did you end up going with? purchasing one or drilling the holes? i just bought me a Lingenfelter t stat as well but it didnt fit cuz i had no clue i had a newer water pump with a 2 piece t stat, very easy to do your self to, its just really messy
