been a while since ive been on, made some progress, got pics

i have been as busy as a bad word but had a few free minutes to wrench on a truck. i got my ebay lt's on, they fit better than i ever expected, got some suspension work in, and got my 4" exhaust on. now i just gotta find time to get the rest of the brake work done and my wideband and new gauges in. i also let my friends with show cars/trucks talk me into entering a show and i took home best in show in the truck class, i was really surprised and proud as s**t. here are a few pics.

procharger p1sc, nelson tune, 42# marine injectors, walbro 255, lt's, ory, 4" volant cat back, PerformaBuilt level 2 pro race trans, trans. cooler with e fan, 2500 stall, aem wideband, energy bushings, spohn perf. trailing and panhard rods, mb & gear alloy 22's ( ya 2 sets, im big ballin), ss brake lines, drilled & slotted rotors, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla,
and ya it will beat a hemi.

Do you have any pics of the transition from the Y pipe to the rest of the exhaust?

thanks guys, i will try to get pic of it, its kida right above a crosmember tho. i cut the flange off the y pipe and got a 3'' to 3.5'' adapter (in polished 304 to match) and the exhaust was made to fit a 06 to 08 duramax so it was 3.5'' at the inlet and went to 4'' after a few inches, it saved me another adapter and looked clean. i used all polished 304 stainless band clamps and bought 2 exhausts so i could have 2 matching volant mufflers (long story), it is note is pretty mellow cruising but its really deep, it growls nice at part throttle and screams at wot.

I really like the look of the exhaust. May look into it, probably change the muffler to a larger magnaflow cuz I want to quiet it down. Definitely a good looking set up though.

i would actually like mine to be louder but for my gf's and son's sake i will leave both mufflers on, going 6 + hours away on vacation would drive every one but me nuts, plus the mufflers stuck together look sweet. hit me up if you decide to go with something like i have, i may be able to help a little, i have $625-675 in mine including the headers, header wrap & ties, 2 volant cat backs (and i still have 1 minus a muffler to sell), hangers, 3-3.5'' reducer, clamps, and what i paid the muffler shop to cut the flange off the y pipe and expand the 3'' side of the reducer.
